The story of Fashion Paints began in 1975 in a small town in Thrissur called Irinjalakuda. It commenced operations as Thozhuthumparambil stores founded by Late Mr. Joseph Thozhuthumparambil and dealt with hardware accessories and tools. The shop was soon renamed as Fashion Hardwares.
During the 1980’s, Mr. Rajan Joseph, the second son of the founder joined the business with a vision to expand and by the beginning of the year 2000, he tool over all the business activities. Soon in 2001, the venture was again renamed as Fashion Paints and till today remains a household name in the field of hardware and paints. Mr. Rajan’s wife Pushpa Rajan associated with the company in 2004 and in 2012, their son Mr. Akhil Raj also joined the company.
While initial retail outlets had a turnover of close to 10 lakhs, today the company boasts of incredible growth in paint retails and high turnovers in the tune of Rs. 128 Crores (FY 2018-2019).

We have built associations with more than 3000 contractors and have thousands of extremely satisfied clients. In 2019, we decided to diversify our scope of work and are launching into another segment called “ World of Fashion”. This new segment will cater to the demand for electrical fittings, plumbing materials and powertools apart from paints. We will launch this new store in our hometown of Irinjalakuda.
